At Olleh, building an AI virtual assistant is easy, intuitive, and fun. Whether you’re creating a customer service bot or a quirky character like our Taylor Swift-bot, the dashboard offers a seamless experience. If you’ve watched our video walkthrough, this guide dives deeper into features, helping you maximize the potential of your voicebot.
Starting with Olleh is simple. From the Assistant screen, click Create New Assistant. You’ll also see a list of existing assistants below. To remove one, click the trash icon next to “Talk to Assistant.”
The Talk to Assistant feature allows you to test your bot live directly from the dashboard. Tap the green button for real-time interaction, or share your assistant with a demo link and unique ID for easy testing.
Navigate to the Model section to select the large language model (LLM) for your assistant. Popular options include OpenAI’s ChatGPT-3.5-Turbo and GPT-4-Turbo, while Olleh also supports custom AI models for tailored experiences.
Head to the Voice section to choose your assistant’s language and tone. Olleh supports over 70 languages and accents. Select from voice providers like PlayHT, 11Labs, Deepgram, and OpenAI, or upload a custom voice for unique personalities, just like our Taylor Swift-bot.
To make your assistant reachable, assign it a phone number. Olleh allows you to:
Purchase numbers directly at cost
Bring your own number via Twilio
Ensure you verify the assistant ID when linking numbers to avoid errors. This enables callers to interact with your AI-powered assistant seamlessly.
The Billing section provides transparency on usage, including minutes and costs. Add your preferred payment method and monitor charges for transcription, AI models, and voice services. Olleh bills services at cost plus a nominal $0.05 per minute, simplifying your operational expenses.
Set the initial tone of your bot with the First Message. Example: “Hi, I’m the Taylor Swift-bot!” For customer service, something like: “Thank you for contacting [Company Name]. How can I assist you today?” works best.
Define your bot’s personality and behavior in the System Prompt. This script instructs the AI on tone, language, and responses. For example, the Taylor Swift-bot uses conversational phrases, warm and friendly language, and references her milestones to engage users naturally. A well-crafted prompt ensures your AI assistant aligns with your vision and provides a consistent user experience.
With your AI model, voice, and personality configured, test your assistant using Talk to Assistant. Make adjustments as needed, ensuring your bot is engaging, accurate, and ready for real-world interactions.
Olleh’s dashboard empowers anyone to build a custom AI voicebot, whether for customer support, marketing, or creative projects. From selecting AI models to customizing voices and personality, every feature is designed for simplicity and efficiency.
Start creating your AI virtual assistant today, and bring your voicebot ideas to life just like our Taylor Swift-bot. Visit Olleh to explore the dashboard and watch our video walkthrough for a step-by-step guide.
